Many Lives Within A Tree

We are often so busy with our every day lives and other "important" things we have to do we actually don't seem to realize how much life can actually be just outside our house. There is so many life in a tree and we often can't see them, like bugs spiders and flies. In different types of trees animals like Squirrels Sloths and Iguanas spend most of their life in these trees. Sloths have these claws that let them hang on tight for so long. Iguanas use trees as shelter and use these trees to find food. In other trees around the other side of the country like Southeast Asia lives an animal called a Draco Volan, these animals are often named "Flying Dragons" for their appearance. I actually didn't know these animals also lived on trees or that they even existed. These tiny Flying Dragons have many tasks like escaping danger, attracting mates and finding meals. For over a thousand years these animals have adapted the capacity for flight. The Draco Volan's have a set of elongated ribs, which can extend and retract, between these ribs are folds of skin that rest flat against the body when not in use but act as wings when unfurled allowing the Draco to catch wind and glind. These can reach up to thirty feet. There are probably a much more abundance of animals living in trees that we don't even know of. This is like a life lesson to me because we have so much to explore in the world and we only get to see a small percentage of it and as a human being we should be able and want to explore the rest of the world, we don't know what we can find out there.

worms

I made research on what animal eats the apple and leaves a hole inside. I found out about these fruitflies that find a ripe and juicy apple, they use their small and sharp hollow tube on the underside of her body and makes a hole where she lays her eggs. The eggs become worms which do not end up looking anything like their mother. These worms nourish themselves with the apples, when the apples fall the worm burrows into the ground.

My backyard

I am observing my backyard Apple Tree and everything around it. I am facinated with all the cool things I have found, rotten apples for example I know it seems a little bit weird but they actually have a lot of interesting things with it. I found one and it had such a cool design and a perfect hole that when through the front and back of it. My tree is over run with apples and breaking even breaking the branches. I am absolutley excited to find new things in my backyard, like animals that I didn't even know existed.
